Read these pages, as Amber has prepared for us this go round, and come away with a little better understanding of what most of us believe, what we think is important, what we do to prepare, and things you might do to help YOU prepare. Oh, and by the way, Amber now has a new website…visit it and drop her a line!

Take it away, Amber…..!

Shortly before the Savior Jesus Christ’s death his apostles asked him how they would know it was time for his prophesied Second Coming to occur. He gave them many signs of this event, among which were wars, rumours of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, and all manner of natural and social disasters (Matthew 24). As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon), we believe that we are not only followers, or Saints, of this Savior, but believe we are now living in the “latter-days” before his Second Coming. That is a bold doctrine in light of the Savior’s teachings – it means we are now on the threshold of a time that will not only be unrivaled in glory, but also in hardship. Prophets of the Latter-Day Church have been warning us for generations of the coming tribulations, and teaching us the eternal principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ which will prepare us both spiritually and temporally for the days ahead, as well as give us peace, stability, and happiness through our current storms. Below is a sampling of quotes made by these prophets specifically related to the coming (and current) tribulations and how best to prepare for them and, ultimately, survive them. I hope they may bring you peace and prosperity in the days to come.
